Finish Line Photos

The name of the company was Aussies in Action

In the front of the race book is says..

Web address is www.aussiesinaction.com.au

But I can't get into it. Might be down for change.

There were also photographers taking photos wearing bankwest t-shirts, I was given a card to access the photos but have lost it.

Does anyone know where or how to access these photos? cheers

Does anyone know what's happening with the Aussies in Action website? It seems to be down and the phone number for them is not working either. And who was the guy in the water close to the finish line taking pictures? Was he from Aussies in Action too?

What's the story with the finish line photos on the Bankwest site. Most of the photos are of the hangers on at the pub not of the contestants. I thought this event was about the swimmers not the people who try and cash in on our hardwork. Where are all the "official" finish line photos that were taken. Hopefully someone from the RCSA can clarify and put something on the website so we know how to access the photos.

Hi All,

Just spoke to a lady from aussies in action 95373280. They have 6000 photos waiting to be released but are having server difficulties. These consist of start photos, underwater shots, on water shots, finish line shots etc. Can purchase them online or offline as soon as server is back up. At 5.30pm tonight it is expected it will be running at midnight but they cannot confirm.

Aussies in Action have had a server failure on saturday while we were all enjoying the swim - technical staff are telling us that we may be able to start loading the 4780 images about midnight! If all goes well from here then you will be looking at photos 9am wednesday....
We had photographers at the start, on a sea rescue boat for the trip over, in the water at the finish, near the finish line, and the under the signs.
