Boat hire

Hi,
I am planning to do the Rottnest Island Swim next year. I am from the gold coast, I have a boat driver, but I need to hire a boat. Does anyone have tips on good places to hire boats for the swim? Any other tips for someone doing the solo swim for the first time?
